Default What's your favorite/least Blu-Ray movie thus far?

I love fifth element though I've seen it a thousand times. I heard Ultruviolet sucked really bad so that's probably the worst. What's your favorite and least favorite BD movie thus far?

Specify if it's your favorite because of the visuals, sound, etc. or because of the actual plot. I like Fifth Element for the plot the most, even on BD. And then again I dislike Ultraviolet because of the plot as well.

My favorite movie so far is "The Last Samurai." I love the movie and in Blu-ray HD it is truly glorious. The level of detail is incredible. It is a visual feast.

My least favorite is a toss up. I have "The Descent" but have been unable to watch it on my Samsung. My really least favorite at this time is "Total Recall." The picture quality is terrible. I was thoroughly disgusted watching the movie to the point that I couldn't watch it all the way through. I had to stop. It literally had so much grain/noise/crap or whatever in certain scenes that I almost could not make out the picture. It was kind of like watching an analog broadcast signal with too much snow in the picture. It stunk!

Heh, that doesn't sound like Blu-Ray at all. Did you play it on your PS3 or a stand alone Blu-Ray player?

And I also watched the last Samurai, who knew Tom Cruise could act( ). I thought it was really dramatic and even powerful, I remember the scene when he was charging along with his men straight on to machine gun fire. Now that's courage!

yeah.. despite the fact that Tom Cruise is insane, hes a decent actor. Minority report kicked some major ass.

PQ wie I'd say Black Hawk Down and Swordfish. Least fav. was Silent Hill, even if it's not the worst PQ I've seen.
