Lots of grainy blu-ray, please help - Blu-ray Forum

Hello everyone. I own a ps3 and a toshiba regza 42 1080p lcd set. i also own a a3 toshiba hd/dvd. I watch blu ray more of course but for some reason my blu ray movies have a grainy picture and the hd/dvd doesnt. It's really pissing me off(excuse my language). I turned my sharpness down, ive tried all the picture settings. Please help me out, im really frustrated

what movies were you watching and did you use hdmi ??

yeah i have it connected with hdmi and i was watching untraceable at the moment of thread, im about to try batman begins, on a good note the day after tomorrow looks awesome.

then maby it's the movie itself , usually grainy picture comes from the movie itself not the screen

You've been posting here for a year and you've had 2 PS3s and suddenly Blu-rays are grainy?
