Thunderbird

Does anyone here use Mozilla Thunderbird? I tried setting it up on computer, but I must have done something wrong. I have a hotmail account btw. I think I screwed up the incoming server and outgoing server parts. I put "mail.hotmail.com" for incoming server and "smtp.hotmail.com" for outgoing server. If it wasn't that, I'm not sure what would have screwed it up. Basically, it said getting mail or whatever and then it just said there was an error and nothing ever came up. let me know, thanks.
