It depends on your room, and your eyes. HD Basics calibration disc is a good place to starts.

LOL ^^^^^^^^^^ Okay you asked for it. Here is my sexy settings!!! Btw Cinema is the best mode plus best PQ but its just too dim The other modes are too noisy equals lotsa grain. Well this settings is the best for my eye, I hope you like it.

Mode : Cinema
Picture: 85
Brightness: 52
Color: 44
Tint: 3
Sharpness: 50
Color Temp.: Warm
Black Level: Light
HD Size: 2
And the rest of the other setting is OFF

I know the picture is high but I used this settings during my break in period and I played PS3 and watched movies with black bars for hours and hour and never got a image retention. Maybe I just got a perfect set, just set Pixel Orbiter to Force 1.

I would highly reccommend getting an ISF calibration. I used to scour the net and forums searching for the best settings for my TV. I tried them and found a few that I liked. I even used the DVE blu-ray. That being said I had my TV ISF calibrated a couple of weeks ago and WOW!! The difference is truly amazing, so much so, that I don't even think about how much it was, just how good it looks.
