Default Samsung LN-T4665FX Dying Pixels

I have a new Sammy lnt4665fx that i bought back in march. Periodically it will have light green / light blue pixels that run vertical spaced apart about every inch. If the source fills the screen the lines of bright pixels run the entire distance from top to bottom, but if it is wider than 16:9 they only run the distance of what's being shown. I have a warranty through BB for it, but I hate to be without it for who-knows-how-long...that and I'm leery about getting it there and nothing being done...

I can turn the tv off and then right back on, and the lines are gone. Sometimes I have to repeat the process a couple more times, but I always get rid of the problem within a minute or so. Any ideas or suggestions??

Thanks.

Ive got the same problem with my old LG LCD and I wasn't able to find a fix. Its still sitting there with a red pixel screaming at me. It would have taken my warranty 1 month for probably an hour of work.

Since you're still within the original warranty period, you might try calling Samsung. I got a Samsung 40" LCD (4061f) last year that was having some problems with the panel, their service guy came out and was able to get it up and running that day. Might not quite be the scenario you're in, but it's worth a shot if you want to avoid having to send the TV in.
