I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this thread but it's for all of us "cheap bastards" here
![]() I have bought BD's exclusively from Amazon since I got the PS3 (which I bought from them as well). Recently however with their "sales" taking a downward spiral in quality (I'm sure everyone here knows what I mean...) I've been forced to seek for deals elsewhere. It seems to me that in terms of "everyday low-prices" (i.e. non-sale days) Amazon has been consistently trumped by Tower.com! Almost everything that I search on both sites comes up with tower being at least a few cents cheaper. Even when amazon musters up one of their "sales" with "50% off of titles" it is still not cheaper. They only get ahead when they have a B2G3 deal which are far too infrequent with a questionable selection. I have been a very loyal amazon customer from way back but it sucks that a "brick and mortar" store can trump them so easily these days. Anyone else feel the same way towards amazon? Should the bar for hot deals now change from "better than amazon prices" to "better than tower prices"? ![]() |
