Default Klipsch setup.

I should be getting my free moneyz from College soon, and I'm looking to blow it on a Klipsch setup, with an Onkyo 605 receiver.

I reckon I should get about a grand, will this be enough for a 7.1 Klipsch set up?

And I'm English, so £1000 is the equivelant of roughly $2000.
So i'm kindly asking the awesome members of blu-ray.com to go on a bargain hunt for me, as I know not where to look for these speakers, i've just seen them on peoples HT pics and think they look awesome.
Don't forget to include the price of the Onkyo 605 in the price

Any help will be much appreciated, thanks.

EDIT: If you think the 606 is better, throw that in, I don't really know the difference.

I spent about $1400 for the Klipsch setup you see in my sig. I bought them from Crutchfield and they sound absolutely amazing!

That does seem pretty cheap, I guess i'm gonna have to get them shipped over, we get absolutley raped for prices over here.

Buying speakers based on what the pictures look like is the best thing you could ever do..... I hope you enjoy them immensely. Make sure you take very clear pictures from multiple angles after you get them, as I'm sure that'll help others in determining if these speakers are right for them.

lolcasm.

Chill, I'm a noob interested in learning more, hence signing up to this sight, i've heard others on here say that they are awesome, then coupled with the fact that I think they are aesthetically pleasing, means a win sureley, if I was gonna go and do my research, and find out everything to do with speakers, I would never be happy spending under the maximum, which I can't afford to do.
I'm happy with word of mouth, especially from people as knowledgeable as the ones here.

Check my sig, got my stuff from a dealer on eBay, their eBay store is called AVB Direct, they have a warehouse in NY City, very reasonable esp with shipping here in the states anyway. Give them a call their number is on their site, the guy I talked to name was Raj, very helpful.

sorry for being so blunt, but really, you say many like them, and they good good.... I can understand the fact that you like the way they look, but at MINIMUM you should go to a store and compare side-by-side some Horns with Cones because both have completely different sound characteristics. I've heard very high-end horns, and they're just not my cup of tea.... same with Electrostatics.... I'm more of a cone/ribbon/planar kinda guy, and if you don't at least check out the different types of designs, you could end up regretting it. (maybe not at first, but once you hear a speaker based on a completely different design/build it may open your eyes)

You may hear horns and cones and say "wow, I love those horns" and that's fine too, but it seems like a small bit of effort to go through to prevent regrets later.

I live in England, where I live, that wouldn't be possible outside of a good 50 Mile drive, all my local superstores, stock shitty Creative speakers and stuff, there not as available as they are in America.

EDIT: I BLEED BLU, i'll look them up now, cheers.

Yea man definately check em out. I got my RC-64 center from them for 650 and the MSRP is $1,000 I think. It's a beast let me tell you, UPS delivered it strapped to a wooden pallet, weighs like 75lbs. I also got the RS-52's from them yesterday for $550 which is like $250 under MSRP, you can definately get more for your money, they may even give you more off if you buy all togeather
