Default Did anyone buy the Universal Action 3-pack?

I'm wondering if the 3 titles included were the same as if you bought the titles individually. I understand the discs themselves are definitely identical, but I'm more curious about the packaging. Did each disc have its own UPC, or was there just one UPC on the little cardboard wrap around the 3 cases?

There's a sticker over the UPC on the plastic. But I don't think it's on the cardboard.

They were all in their own cases. The sticker was on the back of U571 over the UPC and nothing on the other 2. That worked out since U571 was the only one I kept.

I was thinking on buying it, but U-571 is the only one I care for so I passed on it. How was the PQ on that one?

I havent watched it yet. I sold Miami Vice imediately because it is an awful movie and watched a little of End of Days before I realized how much I didnt like that movie. I just havent had the time to put U571 in yet. I spent 12 hours today watching football.

I bought the action pack because these are pretty good movies for a good price ($40 for all three on Amazon). It's like a B2G1 deal.

I would rate the PQ on all three movies as 4 stars each. The sound on U571 in particular is very good (4.5 stars). The SQ on the other two movies is 4 stars each. I think the reviews posted on this site and other sites are accurate.

IMO, Universal is going a good job with BD releases. Bring on the Bourne movies!!!

I thought the sound on Miami Vice was pretty bad. Dialogue was muffled and hard to understand, plus there were background sounds that made it hard to hear what they were saying. Not to mention the movie itself is terrible. But the picture looked great.

U-571 actually looked and sounded pretty good. Pretty sharp. The sound alone is worth the Blu-Ray.

I too paid $40 for this set because I liked End of Days as a popcorn movie and U-571 had awesome sound and I figured Miami Vice was free.

I got it too. I wanted U-571 and Miami Vice so it was a no brainer @ $40.

In fact I think I'm getting every Uni 3-pack announced so far.

That's the same reasoning I used. That Halloween 3-Pack is a good deal, too.
