Default Kill Bill Vols 1 & 2 Reviews

I have a simple question regarding the site reviewer. How in the hell can he give these movies a perfect 5 rating after finding the extras only rate 2? What would be the rating if the extras were judged worthy of 5? Dumb, dumb, dumb.

I'm not sure if it's the case here, but quite often reviewers do not consider the extras when rating the film.

That's what I've found anyway....

First of all thats rude to the reviewers.

Second, they are rating the overall quality of the movie presented on a Blu-ray disc.

Extra - beyond or more than what is usual, expected, or necessary; additional.

Therefore Extras are simply just that, extra and not necessary therefore they aren't taken into consideration with the overall rating of the film, but they do rate it just because it happens to be on the disc and people want to know what their opinions of it is.

I think it would be unfair to rate a movie based on how many documentaries and French trailers they can squeeze in, and that the rating should come from the main portion; the audio, video, and overall movie quality. Not everyone cares about supplements but I'd be willing to guess that everyone wants the best from the other categories.

Usually reviews anywhere will have an overall score (not an average)

As always, Ben did a fantastic job with these reviews. Different reviewers place higher emphasis on different aspects of the disc, and I tend to take the same approach as Ben when it comes to to a title like this one. If the movie is fantastic, and the PQ and AQ are top notch, the extras rarely factor into the overall score (unless there are absolutely none). For some users extras are more important, and that is why we have a separate rating for each aspect of the disc, and not just an overall score.
