Default sony kdl question

i have a sony kdl32u3000, and everytime i load a dvd and such it changes the resolution obviously, but in the top corner it comes up with "AV2 - 1080i" , is there any way of getting rid of that so that it doesn't come up every time?

Thanks

Yes, in your menu there should be an option that says, "Info Banner" that should do it. It will keep that from popping up everytime the input changes. You might also be able to change what is displayed under your input settings. I haven't looked at your manual / service manual. Contact Sony directly for more information at...

http://esupport.sony.com/?ref=http%3....com/index.php Just confirm your model number.

That's not it. I have the 40V2500 and the info banner is turned off but that still shows up.

You have to hit the display button on ur remote. It should be near the top, its looks like this (i+). That will turn of the av display.
