White Knight Story vs FFXIII(Post your thoughts/Opinions)

With Final Fantasy XIII coming who knows when and White Knight Story to be playable at next months Tokyo Game Show

I wana here your thoughts and see what you think in your opinion will turn out better?!

I don't know about you but I have high hopes for White Knight Story being the next big rpg series!

Graphics appear outstanding in the picture but gotta know about the gameplay. Will it have the battle system like most rpgs (Fight, Magic, Item, etc.) or will it be the type that lets you run around and dodge opponents?

I don't know about you but I have high hopes for White Knight Story being the next big rpg series!

I REALLY hope it doesn't have that same fighting gameplay as these last 2 ffantasys. I stopped playing them after ffx-2 because i like that kind of active t/b gameplay over this new computer game feel that these last to ff's have had. I find myself playing ff7 and ffx so many times because of that fighting engine. Sure it my be a bit played to some but i rather have that then feeling like i'm playing a computer game on a computer like some xbox rpgs...or if it played like star was unleashed which i've had since thursday of this past week, that would be HOT as well.

SE has proved with FFX, FFX2 and FFXII that they can fail miserably for the levelling system, now we know they're greedy and can develop a game fast to get big bucks (Infinite undiscovery), let game creators get away (Mistwalkers), and betray the platform that brought them to success ... So I'll read many reviews (not professional ones as they'll give a 10 even if there's many flaws) before buying the game.
So White knight story gets my vote, even if Rogue galaxy had an annoyingly repetitive gameplay, it looks great and the gameplay seems fun and lets some place to startegy.

Well said!....Final Fantasy is gettin dull. FFXII did a better job but even then I was not very happy with the small character lineup and having "Guest Characters" instead of playable ones

Did anyone else think that you would at one point play the latin guy with the shades(forget his name) character?...I was like why did you even bother introducing him and that chick for?!...added nothing to the game(except story)!

I was happy with ff12. I don't know what you guys are talking about. It WAS DEFIANTLY too short... and the story was a little bland... but the game play was fine.

I like the traditional turn-based RPG games, but this one worked for me. IDK I'm excited to see what's next.

I WILL say that I HATE where the summons are going. I liked them in FF7... They need to bring that back!

Well I liked FFXII too, but I didn't like those things I mentioned and yup it was short!....I thought the boss battle at the end was freakin cool!

Your right about the summon thing, I think summon monster leveling should be kept optional instead of fighting a boss as a summon with limited attacks

I preferred the summons to be used as magical attacks... I don't like them being on screen longer than their cool ass intro and attack.
