Ok the next generation of the PlayStation 2, SCPH-******, will only playback Blu-ray videos. This way we can still watch blu-ray, & DVD-Video on the PlayStation 2. GAMES WILL NOT BE RELEASED on Blu-ray, but in that same press confrence, sony annouced that PlayStation 3 will use Blu-ray.

Yes but thats the PSX version not PS2.....by itself. I think that it might cost slightly more than todays PSX.
