Any experience listening to either Diamond 8’s or 9’s? How do they compare to Focal?

My Whafedale experience is a bit old (I used to have a pair of Diamond 2 or 3s). They were pretty good for the money. Nothing special, but certainly not crap either. Definately worth you checking out.

Wharfedale is an old English company. They make very good speakers. I have experience with much older models in the past. Are you looking for bookshelf models or floor models? If you are serious about them, this dealer sells them at big discounts.

Focal also makes excellent speakers. They will probably cost you more. I don't have any direct experience with Focals.
