I watched the blu-ray and thought it was great! I thought the movie was pretty good, but reminded me too much of Event Horizon.

it is awesome on blu-ray. this movie benefits more than any other movie I have ever seen from an HD transfer.

I figured it would be good since the effects are nuts

I thought it looked very stunning. The end of the movie ddidn't live up to the looks though, in my opinion. A shame.

Picture quality was good but couldn't finish watching because it wasn't my type of movie.

I want this one. I saw at the movies for free, as a special screen, as it was a limited release and few people know about it.

imo - still believe this to be one of the finest sci-fi movies made... completely underrated... and the Blu is one of the few that I actually didn't mind spending the ridiculous $29.99 on.

+1. It really does look a lot better on Blu-ray. My wife talked me into renting it on demand before I bought the blu-ray. Good movie either way though.

Eh, it was very mediocre. Wouldn't recommend it.

Although I do like the premise itself, the cast, writer, director, composer and certain elements/scenes I was in the end very disappointed with "Sunshine." I just wasn't particularly satisfied by most of it.

The ending of the movie is subpar to say the least and they use the same computer concept from 2001 (Hal 9000). Just goes to show how amazing 2001 is.

Indy 4 has to be the most misunderstood movie ever made. I feel bad for it.

I have to say it's one of the best sci-fi movies to come out in the last few years. The acting is pretty good, the story is cool, and the cinematography is good.

I also dig Aeon Flux, Starship Troopers (with all of its Third Reich implications). At the same time, I loath George Lucas for what he did to the Star Wars franchise in episodes 1,2 & 3 – an unpopular view with many, but hey…it’s all good in the end. Each of us likes what we like, and if we don’t all agree…well, just think of how boring things would be if we did

Yes, one of my all time favorite sci-fi movies, i cudnt wait to get this on blu-ray, it is 10 times better than DVD, the picture and sound is amazing, particulary the scene where the guy says "what do you see?!" and the chineses guy is looking out at the approaching sun with the music building up to a climax and roaring noise is just amazing..danny boyle rules
