What do you guys think of Sex and the City: The Movie? - Blu-ray Forum

After hearing from afew of my male co-workers saying this is a good flick I decided to pick it up I have never seen the show but before I open it up I want afew more opinions from other males in this forum that have seen this movie

I enjoyed it. And I've never yet seen a single regular episode of the series.

There are a number of movies such as this, and SPEED RACER, and many more that, if they weren't in Blu-ray, I might not have bought, and enjoyed, them. Something about that startling Blu-ray Hi Def PQ that hooks me. Thought the same with FORBIDDEN KINGDOM last night.

Based on the 20 minutes of the HBO series that I accidentally watched once about 4 years ago, I would naturally assume that this is the worst movie ever created by man (homo sapien).

I've only ever seen a couple of episodes, but I thought the movie was ok. However, it was too long. I thought they could of focused the first movie on the whole wedding thing, then the sequel could of been about them getting back together.

hehe, it'll probably be on HBO one day and I might see it then, however I have seen the show and didn't care for it, neither does the wife. Maybe if Kim Catrall was younger, I'd hope to catch a glimpse of her (.)(.) , but she's past her prime...

Movie was okay... Way too long for a romantic comedy (150 Minutes), I guess they were trying to close off too many loose ends from the series ?????

Straight male here. TV show was awesome with genius writing. Ripping sarcastic humor and real life situations and problems and good times.

The movie was more of the same.

Ready for a sequel.

FYI, Both testicles firmly in place for all you guys that are afraid to watch a great show revolving around women.

I've never seen that show, but I'd be interested in a movie based on it. They also need to make a Law & Order: SVU movie. That's one show that could make a great movie.
