Default Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F (2024)

....directed by Brett Ratner. http://www.worstpreviews.com/headlin...=10288&count=0

Are there no other directors left in the world? I don't hate him but this is getting really annoying after God of War, and now this.

How is this gonna happen without Eddie Murphy? That same site had an article that Meet Dave was Eddie Murphy's last movie and he was going back to stand-up, but I couldn't find it (I assume they meant his last live action movie, because I think he still has to do Shrek).

P.S. People have known about him directing this for a while, but I just found out and didn't see it mentioned when I did a search.

I love it how people have now started to liken Ratner to Uwe Boll. Now that's hilarious.

While he's not as bad as Uwe, X-Men 3 was definitely beaten a few times with the shitness stick.

Rush Hour isn't half bad though, so for action comedies he's okay...

Yeah you're right, but there is a definite pattern of bad output from him as of late. (X-Men 3 and Rush Hour 3). Maybe it's the curse of the # 3.

I saw the article about being his last movie but I though Murphy was already signed for Beverly Hills Cop 4 and I assumed it meant now more deals for upcoming movies. I really don't think they would do it without Murphy.

But I wouldn't be surprised if they tried making it rated PG-13.

Meh. They should have stopped after the first one. To be quite honest, I didn't even know there was a 3rd.

The only way a BHC4 film has a chance, is if Eddie is in it. Without him, it will undoubtedly flop.

There mere idea is a flop without the classic Axle Foley laugh.

And a crappy Beverly Hills Cop 3 was already done, so maybe Ratner doing #4 will make it better..............

Arrow How Bad is the Ratner Beverly Hills Cop 4 script? Read On!

Latino Review has there hands on the script for the Ratner helmed Beverly Hills Cop 4. It isn't pretty. I've heard it described as an old Schwarzenegger script retooled and unfunny. Anyway, if you are looking forward to this movie, you may not want to check this out.

Here is the scoop: The studio loves the draft but Eddie Murphy is not too keen on it.

Released in 1984, the original “Beverly Hills Cop” grossed $316 million worldwide and spawned two sequels. All told, the three pics grossed $712.9 million worldwide. The last was released in 1994.
ing details for other 1980's sequels and remakes. In the meantime, El Ch

They kill Rosewood and don't make Axel funny and the story sounds like crap on paper. Yeah this is going to be a gem.

Eddie Murphy doesn't approve of the script???? Is he aware of the trash he's starred in within the past 5-10 years??
