Default Onkyo customer service issue

I have written two emails to Onkyo customer service with questions about my Sr-605 receiver, and gotten NO responses, not even the usual acknowledgement email stating they received my email. Anyone else have issues with Onkyo CS?

I've called them before trying to find out why not 605 wasn't taking the new firmware. I think I needed to call twice only because the first time the connection to them was horrible. Though they straightened everything out. Oh and I did email them before and I got a response a week later.

My recommendation is just picking up the phone and calling them directly.

I called them a few months back to ask about the DSP FW update for my 705. They told me Id have to ship it or take it a state away to have it updated! Found out later that day I could do it myself with a cd and did and it was a pain in the a$$. The Onkyo rep told me I couldnt do it myself. I thought he should have known that I could. Usually their support is more accurate.
