Anyone have any experience with AV123.com? - Blu-ray Forum

I have been researching different speakers for replacing my current 5.1 setup, and I came across this site awhile ago.

They seem to have fairly decent stats on their sets, but I was wondering if anyone on this site had actually ordered and used any of their hardware before? I am interested in about 1500 5.1 setup.. and want to get all speakers from same source, and they seem to have some nice setups.

Footloose has one of their subs. They have good speakers from what I hear. You may want to look into Axiom, SVS, Elemental Designs, Paradigm, Bowers and Wilkins, and Mirage for some more ideas. Don't limit yourself.

Their M15's are one of the nicest subs on the market.

i didnt have a good experience with them due to shipping delays with a pre-ordered item.

i put an order in back in May for an mfw-15, which had a shipping time of June, 2 weeks into August i still didn't have the sub

, and i kept getting the run around on shipping dates...that never followed through.... great reviews on the mfw 15, i wouldn't purchase unless its in stock

also shipping is pretty pricey ( i think 120ish for that mfw 15 )
also, they're ordering system and website are not linked

if prices go up on an item, it will reflect that price in your order, even if you purchased prior at a lower amount. They will honor that price, just sucks that when you review your order, it shows the inflated price, blah!!

I own alot of av123 gear and I am very happy. Chose the Rockets over Paradigm and B&W to name a few. If an item is not in stock, you will have to wait a bit (sometimes a long wait), but the performance and quality you get for the money is extremely good. Overall, Mark and his crew there go out of their way to help everybody. Of course they're not perfect, but nobody is.

I own RS850s, RSC200, RS250s and 2 MFW-15s.

I also have a pair of x-ls Encores in my office.

You're best bet is to join the av123forum and ask for an audition of what you're looking to buy. The community there is very willing to have people over for demos.

Where are you located?

Which av123 speakers were you looking at?
