Yes, it comes with 3D glasses.
And yes, you can watch it on television. Although don't go expecting the 3D to be as good as it was in the cinema

i have to say that this is the best 3D experience i have had at home so far. it's not as good as the cimnema because it's not as large but the 3d effects are pretty awesome even on a 50" LCD. I only watched a few minutes of it becuase i was curious, and tryiong to watch football, haha. but what i saw made me happy.

It does. Only minor consistent ghosting for the most part. What I didn't expect was the the surface(our world) stuff being in 3D as well. It's pretty good. Much better than Hannah Montanna(My first and so far only headache-induced 3D experience), not that I don't like her, but it was tiring.

Thumbs up my view...

After posting the question.. i waited for some time and when there was no reply.. i went to local woolworths and bought this movie for 17quid..

Assuming that 3D Home cinema equipment would be very very expensive and Red-Green glasses are easiest way to reproduce 3d effects at home.. here is my review..

The movie was really good in 3D, though not so great as Cinema.. and there were few glitches where fast screen movements could not be captured a lot.. and also most of the time the picture had added depth behind the screen rather than 3D effect infront of the screen.. and all the objects behind the focused position did not have much of 3D detail to them and they were blurry sometimes..

there were some scenes where the 3D effect was really good.. for example the Title display for the movie..

and in some cases the 3D effect was really bad.. for example when the bug creature is showed in front angle at the very beginning of the movie..

I guess its the software that added the red depth which needs to be improved.. not the shooting technique or the movie itself..

overall it was a good experience and i liked it.. Hope there will be more 3D movies on blu-ray in the future..

Although the movie itself is 1 star out of 5 , I found the 3D effect very good on my 50" DLP , and I thought the bug scene at the beginning was super , the antennas were wiggling just inches from my face , my wife actually jumped back as if it were real

If you liked this and want to see more 3D movies on Blu Ray you might want to check out Coraline and The Polar Express.
