Default Question for people with a Bravia.

I saw a TV, not sure about the model number but it was a Sony Bravia XBR model, not sure bout XBR though. Anyway, it was playing a loop of a video demo maybe like 5-10 mins long. Its the one with different scenes from like Italy or some other country and every once in a while some people pop in walking around.

My question is, is this a blu-ray or is the loop within the TV itself, as in "installed" in the TV? I had heard somewhere that it was within the TV, but I'm not sure.

The reason I ask is because if its a blu-ray I'd like to know where I can get one because its pretty cool demo material.

Thanks in advance.

sounds like a blu-ray demo disc sony sent us at my work.... those kind of things pop up on ebay occasionally but as they are given to stores on a "for display only" type basis, you'll be lucky to find them

Yea I wasnt sure if it was a blu-ray or not because the display was only a TV the blu-ray underneath it was off, so I dunno maybe it was behind it.

Actually...this is a demo that is contained on a hard drive. I have the same demo on about 3 different Sony hard drives at work. My reps are kind of morons because they tell me that source material is supposed to be better than blu ray because it runs at a higher bitrate however, the footage itself is not the quality of a Hollywood film, nor is it shot as digital video at a 1080p resolution even though the box output may be set to 1080p.

Do you know how to get a Blu ray of it. It is from what I've seen on the unit a HD hard drive recording.

Oh ok, thats what I figured because the stores I had seen it in, I never saw a blu-ray player anywhere.

So, I suppose its pretty much near impossible to aquire one of these hard drives?
