Ok from what i've read and gathered is that when you go into the samsung service menu you void the warranty on the TV. What i've also read is that you can "cover your tracks" by deleting the log that shows exactly what you did to the tv in the menu. I want to turn my AMP setting up all the way but i'm very afraid that something will happen to my TV and that as a result of me going into the service menu i'll be denied my warranty.
Anyone care to elaborate? I think i should be fine since i know how to delete the log.... but is there any other way they could "find out"? They're just covering their butts. See, if you go into the service menu ans screw something up then take it in for service... they can tell what you messed with and can then say, 'sorry, no warranty here'.
Warranty is on manufacturers defects. If you go into the service menu, screw around with settings and bugger it up... that aint a man' defect and you're royally buggered. |
