Rank your top HARDEST games to get a Platinum trophy

Hey as I slowly chug towards 100% in GTA, I was wondering what games you own that you think are the hardest to reach 100%.

For me, my list is:

3. LittleBigPlanet (I know it's not hard but I suck at making good levels, and therefor no gold trophy for me)
2. GTA IV
1. Warhawk (wayyyy too time consuming)

I have platinums in Uncharted, CoD 5, and Dead Space. Those games are jokes compared to GTA and Warhawk.

I just re-read your post. COD world at war is no joke. GTA IV is easy to get , just time consuming.

Only have platinum's in two games right now (Uncharted and LBP), but i can make a short list.

1. WipEout-- gave up because I decided that it would be impossible...for me

2. Resistance 2-- Have to dominate in all 3 facets of the game to get all the trophies. Relative to what I've played, its the 2nd hardest, but I suspect there are several games I have not played that are much harder.

3. LittleBigPlanet-- collecting all bubbles and acing every level was frustrating, but not impossible.

4. Uncharted-- crushing provided a decent challenge, but it only took about a week to get all the trophies

5. Burnout-- if things were retroactive, id have all the trophies already. now its just a matter of time to do it all again.

im assuming that games like Warhawk, GTA4, and Bioshock would fall between 1 and 2 in my list.

I'd say Wipeout... because some of the trophies are just impossible. Other games might be hard too, but most are just a matter of putting in the time.

Warhawk is about impossible without literally devoting your life.

PAIN - is a very difficult game when trying to achieve a goal.

Definately Warhawk. On average to reach General and get the last trophy you will have to invest 1000 hours of game play. If you break that down that's almost 42 days of playing a game 24/7.

Warhawk is the hardest, no question about. GTAIV is pretty damn time consuming too

Until PoP, Burnout was the EASIEST game to get Platinum. Criterion made up for them not being retroactive by making them so easy. Not much challenge here

Bioshock's platinum is pretty crazy. Finishing on Survivor mode without dying takes enormous skill and enormous luck.

GTA4's isn't bad, just enormously time consuming (esp. those stupid pigeons!).

Warhawk is by far the most difficult platinum. By far. Not only are some of the objectives enormously annoying, but as mentioned... General rank? Ouch.

Uncharted and Prince of Persia are both relatively tame.

Rock Band 2 is fairly brutal unless you're a very good player. Getting a platinum artist icon can be extremely challenging, and the Bladder of Steel trophy isn't much fun either unless you're on vocals.

LittleBigPlanet isn't horrible, just enormously tedious.

Resistance 2 is crazy. 10,000 online kills and other bizarro criteria.

WipeOut HD is pretty insane unless you're brilliant at the game.

Mirror's Edge's trophies seem pretty nasty too.

Well I only have 1 ( ) at the moment and that's on Burnout which is pretty simple to do. Uncharted I have to do on hard and crushing to get the platinum, but should be doable with a bit of patience (of which I'm severely lacking unfortunately). The 2 hardest from my perspective would have to be Warhawk, because there is no way I will ever spend that amount of time on the game to get to the highest rank, and Pain because the things you have to do for about 90% of the trophies are impossible.

But basically any game that requires me to play online is going to be pretty difficult because I just don't have the time or the will to actually play that much online, maybe just a few hours at the weekend is as much as I will do.

I'm glad people say Prince of Persia is easy because at least I might get another platinum

A question about the Bioshock trophies. Do you also have to get the trophies from the downloadable content to also get the platinum? If so that's a bit sneaky of them to do that.

Warhawk is definitely the hardest Platinum to get in my opinion. I've got about 165 hours clocked in the game and only about a fifth to General rank if I recall correctly.

PixelJunk Eden I find fairly difficult. Not letting a single pollen go to waste, collecting 500,000 pollen in a game. I'm just not that good.

Resistance 2 is moderate, mostly time consuming to play through everything that is required, especially the 10,000 kills trophy.

LittleBigPlanet is moderate, again mostly time consuming to play through the levels multiple times to collect all prizes and ace them. Took me forever to figure out how to get past the giant hamster wheel of doom without dying. I'm in the same boat as most of you, no one wants to play my online levels (let alone heart them!).

Burnout is easy (need one more trophy there - invite a friend to an online game. None of my friends play the game, so this trophy taunts me.)

Dead Space is very easy, just takes a little bit of time (Again, need one more trophy - beat the game on Impossible, but that should be doable.)

ALL Platinum is annoyinh in most games u gotta finish the game on every difficulty but cause i enjoy multi-player rather than single-player i dont think i'll b able to get 1 ever
however i've finished GTA4 and Uncharted before the trophies were launched but not enough to get platinum

I have none because I have commitment issues :-(

I'm working on Burnout, but I lost my save to a broken PS3. I will never achieve Warhawk's because I'm not that good, and not PixelJunk's because I only play multiplayer.

Uncharted may come with time.

As you can see, the biggest hurdle for me is time.

The hardest game for me to get all the trophys for would have to be PAIN.

Without a doubt the hardest would be Warhawk. To get to general takes months of play time. Last time I checked there were only around 500 generals on the leaderboard. This is 16 months after release.

definitely wipeoutHD. good god that game is hard. platinum is just a dream for some of us in this game.
