Pure Acoustics speakers... any good?

Has anybody heard anything about this brand of speakers, good or bad?

I don't actually have a link... I already own them. A while back I was in the market for some new speakers, anything would be better than my HTIB speakers. One day while at The Brick shopping for something different they had these boxed and in a pile on the floor, for $88 (regular $500) for 5 speakers... C, L, R, SL, SR.

I asked the clerk what's this all about, he said they bought them from a local retailer going out of business. I bought them and they sound really good, at least much better than my old HTIB speakers.

I was just wondering if they are a desent brand in general.

Opinion vary, a quick google search shows up a fancy website and some generally neutral to positive reviews....

Sounds like for the price, you got a pretty good deal.

I am actually looking to pick up a set of the Pure Acoustics AV799 speakers....now I just have to get a sub, and decide whether or not i "need" the Receiver I want.....

They seem to be fairly decent speakers, especially for the price. They sound like a great set when compared to other budget level speakers. Just be aware of what receiver you match them with, because I think Pure Accoustic speakers tend to be 4 ohm rated. Some receivers have difficulty powering 4 ohm speakers.

I bet they beat a lot of HTIB and big box retailer speakers too.

I like the way they sound, I was just wondering if they are a good brand. I really know nothing about brands of speakers, who's good and who's bad.

If you own them why do you want our opnion ,,,, You should be telling us your opnion kind of an odd topic .... Thats like me saying I own Halcro ,,,,,,Is it any good???
