Default Panasonic BD55 not working with HDMI

I recently purchased the Panasonic BD55 and all was good until the other night we it suddenly stopped picking up a signal through HDMI. The player works fine when connect to the A/V cables it came with. However, when I use the HDMI cable I bought it says no input on my 47" Westinghouse LCD the player says HDMI on the little LED screen, but there is no picture, sound, nothing. So I don't know if the cables are bad or if there is something wrong with the player. Any Suggestions would be helpful because I couldn't find anyone else with this problem online. Thanks

Weird, if it just started happening. Makes me want to learn towards a malfunction in the hdmi port in the player. Have you tried a different hdmi cable?

I tried unhooking everything, even resetting it to factory settings and no luck. I'm going to go pick up another HDMI cable right now and if that doesn't work I really don't know what to do. Thanks for the help though
