Default TX-SR605 Not detecting hdmi

My baby boy had been messing the front controls on the receiver and now it won't detect HDMI. I've pressed the Input button and cycle through, HDMI is missing....possibly suppose to be where it shows "-----"

Who knows the solution?

Game/TV had been set to HDMI and is connected to PS3

Sounds like your input designations are just messed up, but I think that's what you're going in that direction. Unplug the A/C and the HDMI(s) that you have, let it set for a few minutes, and try again.

Just do a factory reset, and everything should return to normal. There is no permenant damage that could have been done simply by messing with the front controls.

Did the factory reset and it didn't fix it. Unplugging for awhile didn't fix it.

I had to go into settings, then Input/Output Assign
then Monitor Out, then HDMI Output to YES

After that it worked.

Default Pleased

to read that. Even my 17 year old baby boy and 46 year old wife can get things out of order so easily. Just saying don't blame it on youth. Glad you have it working again.
