Default AM I the only one?

Am I the only one who wants Chronicles of Riddick, and Pitch Black on Blu-ray? These two movies (I thought) were slated for January releases, but I see no more information as of yet........

I want them too myself. Here's hoping for a tie in to the 3rd title actually coming out though .

To me, importing is something a true movie enthusiast would do. To always purchase the best version of a movie available. Regardless of where the release originates from.

Although, how can we know which release is the best one available unless someone points it out for us?

I'm with you on what you're saying, I just mean there's not enough info. Thankfully DVDBeaver does a few comparisons here and there but it stops there.

Are you kidding me? Do you realize that this very forum itself has sections dedicated to both European and Asian Blu-ray releases!? Thats exactly whats discussed. Exactly how these releases compare to the domestic versions.

Well I'm sorry if I haven't been around long enough to make full use of this forum. I'll make sure to do that.

And of course I know what that there are those forums. I just hate nagging about which or what release is best, especially when there are like 5 different releases worldwide.

By the way, no need to get defensive or whatnot, I'm on your train of thought.

Most of the releases available in multiple countries other than the US are the exact same encode. The only difference being the disc and cover art being in the countries respective language.
