Is every blu ray new release you are selecting for your queue showing up as LONG WAIT? AAARRGGH

. Its really pissing me off that i have new releases at the top of my queue even before they are released so that when the release day comes I should be one of the first to receive it. That is not the case. Is there a process in which Netflix selects who gets the blu ray first or not or how the wait period works?

about half of mine are showing up as long wait.. but I have received several in the past month.

Mine are all available. Depends on your market area.

The wait is worse than for regular DVDs, but that's not surprising. I would expect it to get better and better and more blus are released and the format gains in popularity.

Just watched Burn After Reading from Netflix last night. Good movie!

looks like the format is gaining popularity faster than anticipated if they dont have enough to go around, youd think that since theyre charging extra fees for renting blu ray, they would at least keep the people paying the extra fees happy with having the blus in stock that you want

i have been contemplating getting a netflix membership recently, but this is making me rethink it
