Default Which Bond BD Volume to get?

will be picking up at least one tomorrow

if im lucky, ill get both (IF im lucky)

if i only get one which should it be IYO (in your opinion)?

i have Die Another Day, Live and Let Die, Thunderball, OHMSS and A View to a Kill on DVD already, but i will be double dipping because i want the complete set on Blu-ray

Volume 2 has 2 movies i have not seen at all/very often and thunderball = a classic

Volume 1 has Dr. No. never seen it and the first one! Live and Let Die is one of my favs and Die Another Day was okay

I dont know if you have read people have said about buying the volumes but I wouldnt. The cases are supposed to be terrible and everything. I think the best thing for you to do is buy them individually. Then that way you can buy

Thunderball
Live and Let Die
(and you should buy Dr. No)

I agree. Buy them individually.

That way you get better cases, and you get to present them chronologically.

And buy the regular editions, rather than the Steelbooks, because you get a nice picture of the appropriate Bond on the spine :-)

If you are going to buy them all eventually no matter what then don't ask us. Just flip a coin or pick whichever one has a movie in it that YOU feel like watching tonight.

i got volume 2

and the cases aren't that bad, but the cover images are glued to the box, never seen that before so the corners are slightly coming off... but i dont think they were glued down originally

I admit I was influenced by the negative comments I'd read about the set packaging. So while I was I originally planning to buy Volume Two of the Bond set, I ended up buying the titles I wanted individually at Best Buy in their exclusive steelbook cases. I wasn't a big steelbook fan before and I'm still not a big steelbook fan. But it does make the classic Bond BDs I own that much more special. So I'll be picking up my next Bond BD at Amazon who seems to have the exclusive lock on steelbooks for the upcoming wave.
