German Blu for Once Upon A Time In China & America. - Blu-ray Forum

I have the horrible US R1 DVD and I was wondering how this Blu is and if it is region locked? If you have seen the US DVD you know that the subtitles go way off sync in the last half of the movie. Apparently this Blu doesn't have English subs but it does have English audio.

I would recommend that you stay away from this disc. The transfer supplied by the German distribs is average at best.

Do you happen to know of any German review sites that could have stills for this Blu-Ray? It seems that all of Jet Li's Chinese movies that got released on Blu-Ray in Germany all suck in terms of quality.

Yeah from what I could tell from the Amazon.de page for Once Upon a Time in China and America is that the quality is worse than a VHS which is something very sad for a Blu-Ray. To my knowledge this is the only entry in the Once Upon a Time in China series that has a Blu-Ray release.
