I need advice please - Blu-ray Forum

I could use advise please. Right now I have 4 Polk Moniter 70's 2 for the front and 2 for the rears. Someone gave me a offer for to buy 2 of the 70's for 425. Now first I bought all 4 of the 70's for 500.00. So I didn't pay full price for them.

First what kind of speaker is good for the rears. I still have my Yamaha bookshelf speakers that I have when I bought a home theater in a box, I also have the surround rears that came with it. Would I lose anything If I sold 2 of the 70's.

Please give advise

Why don't you try the Yammy's before you agree to sell the Polk's, then you'll know whether or not they'll do.

You're not going to find much to replace those with for $425 that will give you some sparkling upgrade in performance.
