Anyone know if this is a Digibook release like the U.S. version?

If it's not, I'll gladly trade my digibook to someone who doesn't have one. I hate them.

After having the blu-ray of Falling down for several weeks I finally got around to watching it today. Have to say I was surprised just how good the transfer was for a film that's 17 years old. Lots of detail and very crisp image which is way better than the original dvd. Also listened to the audio commentary which was very interesting and insightful.

If you like this film then you must get the Blu-ray version!

Just watched this and there's a scene where
[Show spoiler] he calls the ex-wife after killing the nazi, from the nazi's basement
, but the shots are in very low quality, like a bad stream. Is this the same for everyone else? Took me out of the movie, which was a shame.

Yes I noticed this too. I’m wondering if that scene was always like that but no longer have the DVD version to compare.
Also during scenes with no talking the background noise appears to be completely muted in certain scenes?
Is this the same for everyone or have I accidentally triggered some strange setting on my Blu Ray player?

Well I purchased the Bluray last week because I had completely forgotten I had the DVD so I might be able to advise when I get it and watch it again after a long long time.
