Default jagged edges on bright games?

do you guys know how to optimize my graphic? the games i played in are always jagged edged around the models. its hella noticeable in bright games. such as MLB 09.

I have the 60GB PS3 a 27" toshiba LCD tv supports 720p/1080i

my settings currently are
video output set at 720p
cross color reduction filter is on
RGB full range is limited
super white output is On

while watching Bluray movies its hella clear and nice and its only the games that i get the jagged edges

Odd that you should mention MLB '09 The Show, since it runs at internally at 720p60 with 2xMSAA and should therefore be mostly free of jaggies. It also supports 1080p60 internal rendering with no AA (but that's not what you're using).

Are you connected via HDMI or component cables? This sounds like a problem with how your TV is processing the signal. Maybe it's not handling Super White properly?

GTA4 doesn't run in true HD internally, which is why it tends to have a lot of jaggies. The game renders internally at 640p and then upscales to 720p.

It's a diasadvantage of consoles. You guys have games rendered at 720p most of the time. The console the upscales to 1080p if you have a 1080p set. And you guys basically have no AA. While PCs would actually render at the resoltion you set it to and you bump up your AA setting.
