Default Car subs-mtx magnum...

Okay yes i know this forum is not really for car audio but you guys seem to know more then any other forum that i know about.
Im new to car subs and well i don't know how much i really need for a small car ('95 coralla) so i wanted to check and see what you guys think about this deal: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-1000-Watt-MT...ayphotohosting

There are some vids on youtube and it seems to be good but the amp isn't enought i heard.
And yes i know its not really "MTX"
So if anyone has these or knows anyting about car subs please just help me out abit.

I don't think the mods would like any car audio related stuff floating into these forums at all: but just in case, I think you would benefit more from a ported box.

A little off-topic, but that pic from the webpage cracked me up. Have to a agree with Liquidice on the topic, though.

MTX subs are ok. There are other options. Try the following links. Crutchfield has good information about car audio.

Earthquake is a very good company. I had four db10 Earthquake subs in my mustang for over 7 years. and had them in my old car a thunderbird for around 3 years with a ORION XTRPRO1000 amp. the Earthquake's are still working good but I wanted to have the same thing in the car for shows. so now I have two ORION HP10D4 hitting around 150db. if you can find older ORION stuff thats the good stuff like my amp. good luck
