How about that we are all breathing and alive, that should be generally positive...right?
Also it is great to have all the options of where and when to purchase our Blu-ray movies for our enjoyment!

Amen my friend. Too much is taken for granted by the western world. I've just been watching an article on the ITV news about Sierra Leone - hideous living conditions; no proper water supply, corrupt government, disease and famine.

My biggest worry: Should I change my Esoteric CD player for an MF Tri-Vista and why does Babel cost £30 on Blu-ray?!

Touche!

All rather unimportant in the grand scheme. Hmmm. Something tells me I should repent and give a donation to a humanitarian agency as penence for being too concerned about these relatively trivial matters.

Where is the give-a-thon-for-humanity day?

Here is a good place to start.

It's the find Madeleine McCann fund. The poor little angel still hasn't been found and it's over three weeks. I've contributed myself (hence no Blu-rays purchased for the last couple of weeks) and I think the fund stands at £370,000 ish.

It will be used to help find Madeleine and also put into a charity started by Madeleine's uncle to help track down lost children.

Something positive happened to me yesterday. I picked up a couple of HDMI cables and watched Star Wars Episode IV in 720p. Considering I've only seen the movies w/ my progressive-scan DVD player (480p) I think that would qualify for something positive for me.

The Pirates movies are wonderful. The 3rd was good as well. A lot of good things coming down the pike I think.

The Force is strong with Blu-ray.

if I could ever get SW IV, V and VI from my DVR to my PS3, that would be a very positive thing...

Just 10 more days and the only thing Blu I will be thinking about is the beuteous blue ocean and hopefully blue skys on an seven day Alaskan cruise.
I also might get blue when I see the prices for beer up there...other than that...life is good.

Here in the Midwest we had 91 today. It's been high 80's, low 90's for a few days now.

I fear July and August this year. We need rain!
