Sean Connery gives brief review of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Blu-ray Forum

Sean Connery turned down the chance to reprise the role of Henry Jones Sr. in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull because he was apparently enjoying retirement too much (even though it was only thought to be a cameo). Well MTV recently spoke to him and asked whether he had seen the film, and what his thoughts were.

“Did I see the latest? Yes, I did,” he said, adding, “I thought it was rather good.” But the screen legend did have one criticism of the film: “Rather long.”

Guys it's barely a shot at Connery, I don't know why you're getting so worked up over it. He's retired anyways, not that big of a deal.

anyways, interesting to hear that connery enjoyed the film. i'm sure he liked the nod to his character. not a huge fan of the movie, but that was a great scene imo.

When I was in highschool, I had a friend who couldn't sit through a movie without getting up and going to the restroom at least once.

I wonder if he's just being kind or not. I was never clear on so much hate for this flick. Yes, it is BY FAR the worst Indiana Jones movie, and at the same time it is better than tons of awful movies out there.

No maybe he actualy like the movie for real? Maybe he as better taste in movies then others?

It was too bad he wasn't in it but at his age with the career he had, he's certainly earn the right to take a rest if he want's too. Mister Connery, you will always be THE BEST for me

That's cool that he liked it. I was really hoping he was gonna be in it. I loved him in Last Crusade. Connery rocks!

the ending ruined the entire movie for me. ALIENS........i thought the producers could have came up with something better than that for an indiana jones movie.
