Realmente dudo que nos vayan a hacer caso, ya que al menos en el trailer que viene en el blu-ray en español tiene el redoblaje, aparte creo que ah disney le costaria trabajo conseguir el doblaje anterior si no lo hicieron con la bella durmiente dudo que lo vayan a hacer con blanca nieves

Why don't you just buy the Spanish Language version? Disney's got an entire line of Spanish language DVDs, with Spanish-language inserts and spansih menu screens and trailers, etc.

As someone who grew up watching only French dubs, I actually welcome all these BDs coming out only in their original language. And tho Disney's also not providing subtitles, they at least provide them on the free extra DVD for the Platinum titles. Haven't had to use them yet, but who knows.

As for Spanish language releases, I hear the disc content is unchanged.

That's what they did with Sleeping Beauty, and most people preferred the old dub on that.

They're just doing that because of rights issues. They'd have to pay extra money for using the old dub so a new dub is more economical.

Not neccessarily. In fact, ever since the Peggy Lee and Philadelphia Orchestra lawsuits, I'd wager my pinky toe that Disney locks down home video re-release rights in their contracts with voice and music talent. Is it so inconceivable that new foreign language tracks are created to correct or improve upon that which came before?

If you've got some proof for your claims, please - bring them forward, but even then I think we need to wait to actually hear the new foreign language versions before we start with the pitchforks and petitions.

Precisely. The dub of Snow White was done in 1964.

The Peggy Lee lawsuits triggered the redubs.

Disney couldn't release Lady and the Tramp without Peggy Lee, so they had to bite the bullet. But they can get away with releasing Blancanieves without the Edmundo Santos-directed dub. That's it really.

edit: and BTW, the redub is already known - it is the one on the 2001 DVD.

Hispanics don't need to wait to hear how much improved new recordings of the soundtracks are if they like the original dub. Remember, for them that's the original soundtrack they learned to love. This statement of yours is equivalent of someone telling people in the U.S. or the U.K. to be quiet and wait and see if they would prefer a new disc with a Pinocchio English soundtrack using different, newly recorded actors and not letting them express their desire to hear the original actors' recordings from 1940 nor express any displeasure at the original soundtrack not even being included on the disc.
