Default Is anyone very familiar with the different video scalers

I am in the market for a new pre/pro, and I know which one will sound better, but the Marantz AV8003 uses the Anchor Bay Technologies scaler, while the Integra DHC 9.9 uses the HQV Reon scaler. Does anyone know what the differences are and which one may be better? Also how do they differ from the Faroudja? I have noticed that most companies are moving away from faroudja and towards these two.

when i was researching into this stuff, the one thing that seemed to pop up from most people into HT gear was regardless of the chipset don't expect alot from this feature on a receiver, how true this is i don't know.

regarding the chipsets, anchor is what is in the new oppo blu player coming out soon, and the reon was in the really good hd-dvd players and both get excellent reviews, i am guessing faroudja is also on par with these, now how these are used in their particular piece of equipment they are in is the real question.

I knew Oppo was using the Anchor Bay, but do you happen to know what is the expected outcome of each of these? Which should look better/crisper, etc?
