Check out this little indie from Fox Searchlight hitting screens on July 17, 2009

It features the too cute for words Zooey Deschanel!, oh and somebody named Joseph Gordon-Levitt

< just playing, he looks good in it too.

When his girlfriend, Summer (Zooey Deschanel), unceremoniously dumps him, greeting-card copywriter and hopeless romantic Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) begins sifting through the year-plus worth of days they spent together, looking for clues to what went awry. As he recalls the good and bad times he spent with the commitment-phobic girl, his heart reawakens to what it cherishes most. Marc Webb directs this uncommon love story.

I like The Smiths but they depress me. Still great I just don't listen to them much.

I am a huge fan of Joseph Gordon-Levitt's so I will possibly see this on Blu.

Been listening to The Smiths and Morrissey for lets see....since I was 15, Wow almost 19 years! I love the overall feel and tone of the trailer, I do have a soft spot for The Smiths and Zooey so I'm very excited for "500 Days of Summer, will see....I have high hopes.

It's actually my favorite song by them and probably one of their most depressing ones. But in a beautiful kind of way.

The movie looks solid and the cast is great. =]

One issue with being single is there's no one obligated to see these date movies with.

One benefit of being single is there is someone new to see these date movies with.

And I want to see it but haven't found anyone to go with.

I love Zooey Deschanel too but I also have noone to see it with so I'll wait for it to come out on home video.

The duet in the shower scene in Elf makes me fall in love with Zooey every time

The wife and I saw this last weekend...

Excellent film... left me feeling a little melancholy, left her feeling happy... I guess it depends on the types of relationships you have been in...

I have been telling everyone I work with to forget the big studio films and give this one a look-see.

Gordon Levitt was awesome...cant stand Zooey anymore she plays the same role everywhere it seems [to her fans: pls try to refrain from getting on my case just cos I dont seem to agree with you folk]..her sis on the other hand is pretty cool but thats goin off-topic. Levitt's my choice for Joker if they bring him back on the Batman franchise!

I love Zooey Deschanel but Gigantic was really disappointing. Hopefully (500) Days of Summer was better?

Just saying, but the two posts above this one were from myself and another recommending it after having seen it.

I recommend checking it out, good flick.
