Will 30 Rock come out on Blu-Ray ??

i worked on the show and heard no mention on it, but then again it's not a topic they would just casually discuss. shooting wrapped for this season i believe but i can try and find something out for you and report back if i do

I hope they start with the third season release on Blu. It's my favorite show.

I hope so but I am not sure the fanbase for the show is big enough to support a Blu-ray release. While critically acclaimed, it does not generate big ratings.

If the don't release the Office on BD, I don't think that they release 30 Rock on BD

So far there aren't really any network broadcast half-hour comedies on Blu-ray period. I'm hoping that universal will buck this trend, and will release 30 Rock and The Office this fall on Blu. 30 Rock might be a stretch, but I think that it's time for the Office.

Well what about all the crap movies coming out on Blu-Ray like Meet The Spartans, Superhero movie etc..

Probably not unless the ratings go up. Wasn't it in mention that it was going to be canceled but then the ratings went back up? Maybe I'm wrong, I thought I read that. I never watched the show because it's on the same time as other shows I watch. I'm watching an episode now and it's pretty funny.

And I have to agree on that. Those types of movies shouldn't be on Blu-ray. They aren't even worthy of being on DVD. Or VHS for that matter haha. Personally the only movies that make fun of other movies I like is Scary Movie (1 & 2 mostly) Otherwise they need to just stop. And stop putting movies out on Blu-ray that no one wants

30 rock is an emmy winning/nominated show. Ratings couldn't be higher.

Yeah, I did a search and found out it's coming to DVD September 22nd.

It just pisses me off, frankly. I mean, I'm looking at the release schedule and next month we get not 1, not 2, but 3 ****ing Wrong Turn movies.. and we can't get a season of 30 Rock on Blu-ray.

But every other NBC Thursday night sitcom gets a release?

I hate this.
