Pricing on catalog titles - Blu-ray Forum

I think what with the economy and most people's reluctance to double dip even to get an upgrade, companies need to stop releasing catalog titles at over $20. Just ridiculous, really. Also more companies need to offer rebates to DVD owners as well.

Well as you said people aren't liable to get something they already own.

Lower prices might help but either way a lot of Blu-rays will take a while to make the money back that it cost the studio to do it.
