I don't care for the alternate covers, I'm just fine with the standard covers. As long as I own the show on Blu-ray all is hunky dory.

I have them as Stark (season one), Lannister (two), Targaryen (three), and Tyrell (four).

Since I've already got a Targaryen cover, the debate is between Bolton or Martell for this season. I hate decisions.

As I am now 4 seasons into the Best Buy gimmick, I preordered Martell and Bolton. I'll either hang on to both or part with one next year if they get repeated again.

i have the same four in the order you listed

i went with Bolton because the family had a bigger role this season although Martell house shouldve been featured more

also Bolton house is online only, the other two appear like theyre going to be found in store so perhaps Bolton will be rare (lower print run)

I think many would disagree on that one, on accounts of how poorly that storyline was received.

Same situation, going Bolton bc this year's Martell cover is no where near as good as season 4's. Hopefully, next year they get back to the colored ones.

Will the UK discs play on my U.S. Region A player? If not, then I'm going for the Target deal.

Nicest looking design/cover art of any season so far imo.

So they're offering like 4 different designs but they won't offer us a standard Viva case option? REALLY?

Why would you want a viva case?

The digibook cases they use for GOT are beautiful, easy to use and work great for disc storage.

I absolutely despise that fold out cardboard shit. Every blu I own is in a standard Viva case whether it has cover art or not. My DVD collection is all in similar DVD cases. No goofy packaging. These HBO *******s released the first season of GoT in a Viva, and it was selling for $20 for a while. That's exactly the way the rest of the seasons should be. There's nothing beautiful to me about annoying cardboard that I need space to fold out when I want to find a disc. Viva Elite cases are awesome standard cases. Functional, and perfect for saving shelf space.

All I know is The Wire box set comes with the standard viva cases and I find them to be much more of a pain to use as far as getting the discs in and out.

Proper Viva cases (the original design, not the hexagon shit) are easy. Vortex ones are terrible.

All of my GOT seasons are in the digipacks, glad HBO isn't changing the packaging.

Exactly. Having the last couple seasons in regular BD cases would be horrible.

I've got no sympathy for people who bought the first couple seasons in the reissued slimmed down packaging and think that the rest of the sets should be conformed for them.

We were here first.
