Oh if it said 7/5 expression then from what I've read in other posts it'll be 11:59p tonight. I thought it said 7/4.

It'll expire the exact time you redeemed it. So if you redeemed at 3pm, it expires at 3pm on the expiration date

If that's true then mine should've been good until 5:46pm tomorrow, possibly later, as I redeemed it after it was posted in this thread. Of course I'm about to head out for the day, and there's a chance I won't be back until after midnight, so I don't want to risk losing it just because I wanted an extra 10-15 hours to decide

So I just went ahead and bought Black Christmas (2006) in HDX, since it doesn't have a Blu-ray release (at least not in the US afaik), and it was only $7.99. Oh and I used another $4.99 in credit that was already on my account in addition to the $3, so I only paid the tax

As these $6.99 deals are going to be gone by tomorrow, any opinions on this?

Thanks!
Don't bother to knock with a response. I went ahead and bought it. Had free credit anyway!

I watched it on Netflix a week or so ago. I liked it. I thought that Monroe was very good in a darker role. I did see when doing a preview on vudu that it had windowboxed credits which the Netflix version did not have.

Ah crap, I didn't realize it was on Netflix. I probably would've just watched it that way. Oh well... Nothing wrong with having a UV copy, and I used free credit on it anyway.

Lots of good stuff on sale. I already picked up:

Carrie - $6.99
Severance - $6.99
Back to School - $6.99
Signed, Sealed, Delivered - $5.99

I'll probably also get:

The Last Ship: Season 3 - $19.99
Van Wilder - $6.99
Delta Force - $6.99
The Last Circus - $6.99

There's probably a few others I missed.

Big Driver, a lifetime movie network film claiming Stephen King origins, is currently $0.99 UV HDX.

Some of the other Stephen King sale items are ~$4.99 Sometimes They Come Back 2-3, Riding the Bullet

Yes, what ChristopherRobin said.

I ran into trouble with the expiration date and time for the T-Mobile Tuesdays promo a couple weeks ago for this very reason. I posted about it a little way back, but yes, some promos expire not at 11:59 pm of the stated expiration date, but at the corresponding exact time on the day that you redeemed it.

True also of the T-Mobile Tuesdays credits, for those who do those. So now, I usually try to wait later in the day before redeeming those offers.

BTW, for those who get the T-Mobile Tuesdays credits, has anyone gotten their text from T-Mobile (from the number 456) that gives them a link and pin to redeem the Vudu credits?

There was some discussion last week or so about how the link and pin might give you a Vudu credit code different (with a different prefix) from the one you get by redeeming directly through the app.

I woke up this morning hoping to test this theory out but only see the offer in my app, but didn't get any text from T-Mobile like I did last week.

I think that the link/pin options only happen when enough people report issues with the app/site

This is correct. The link with the desktop website is only sent by T-Mobile when people cannot redeem in the mobile app.

there may still be a tiny glimpse of hope

The prospect of additional codes is nice for sure, but we can't expect it much longer. I have a feeling if they can't stabilize the app soon we may lose out all together.

Good point. Yes, I'd rather have 1 free credit per week for a longer run vs. 2 credits per week for only a short stint and then lose everything all together.

I guess I wasn't too familiar with all these issues because I've (fortunately) never had any issues redeeming my credits directly through the app.

Are the issues with redemption through the app really widespread?

yea, they were for both the app and website..I would have small issues with one line and big issues with the other two but this week went a bit smoother. Then again I tried earlier in the day this week (i had to be up earlier than usual anyway).

Thanks! I went ahead and got this. Looks like fun, I love Maria Bello, and I want to support 99-cent sales like this.

I also got Focus (which is one of the $4.99 weekly sales). Been wanting to see that for a long time.

The Mist is $5.99 too. It isn't UV, though. I bought the B&W version.

I know its late. Go to: http://live.t-mobile.com/2lioeo23dd and have a pin sent to you. You can then double dip on the T-Mobile Tuesday.

I even got my 20 year old to login to his hotspot to get our pin #.
