There's an audio commentary too. The booklets in the previous Indicator releases are excellent, would recommend giving them a look (personally I'd take a good booklet over the vast majority of on-disc supplements).

Yeah, audio commentary that's it for the disc. These are meant to be limited editions and the label is being likened to Arrow Video.....not with these lame extras.

They've done it for their other releases. Surely there are featurettes or interviews? Even a doc about 80s horror or something.

I get some people enjoy booklets, I don't. I rarely flick through and sometimes chuck, if I'm adding an extra disc. I'm buying visual, movies to watch. If I want to delve into the movie or about it or it's actors I'll use the net, which has far more info and pictures then any booklet.

It's a shame, that's all. I had the impression this label was issuing something special, like Arrow Video or Criterion. The Body Double release was exciting to get hold of, looks like Christine was too both packed.

Still looking forward to this. It's the movie above all else, just a bit meh about it compared to the hype this label has encouraged.

I'm just happy there's finally a respectable standalone edition of this film I can proudly put on my shelf as opposed to that Godawful Mill Creek double feature with the atrocious art that had nothing to do with the film (there's no castle in HBTM lol). I got rid of that and put the old Anchor Bay reissue DVD with the shishkabob art on my shelf as a stand-in but I never really expected to see anyone reissue it.

It's worth reiterating that is far from barebones. It has an audio commentary and a booklet, which promises to be a cracker based on Indicator's previous ones (they've received universal praise in this area). The alternative score is purportedly of some note too, from the sounds of things. It's not like this has just been thrown out there.

The alternate score is useless, really. It's a fun gag that they included it, but it stinks, just like the DVD cover art it accompanied.

Cancelled. Will pick up the vanilla release as that basically means this, less booklet and different case. Can live without either and save some cash for the barebones disc.

I think they said non-limited versions after 3000 copies which could take a year or two. And how much could they possibly be? 8-9.99 or so. After maybe 2 yrs.

Exactly. I can't believe some people are already moaning about extras, or lack thereof, just because the first two release were pretty stacked. There's no pleasing some people.

You say it like people aren't allowed opinions on releases Fact is they're very unlikely to remove the audio commentary from the disc, these are to be rereleased as nonlimited special editions. Vanilla versions.

So for this limited special edition, the difference will be a booklet and an amaray like criterion use. So if you don't find these two things as utterly amazing, the cheaper standard release will suit.

Some are posting comparing this label to Arrow Video. AV do not release discs packed with extras and then a plain one with a booklet, Indicator have set their own bench mark with Body Double and Christine. Nothing wrong with seeing a same priced and 'limited edition' release as not up to par with those from the same people.

Cool! We had to make do with UK quads of Class of 1984, Zombies (Dawn of the Dead), etc!

The Mill Creek blu gets a lot of praise for the picture quality so I have no clue what you're talking about. Also don't know what you mean in regards to a castle

I'm happy with that. Besides, sprouts make me fart

Yes, years ago. I don't recall one.

Edit: Damn, so there is. I just watched it on YouTube. I don't remember that at all.

I'd love to pick this up if only to support the label but a fan commentary track with people who have nothing to do with the film has little interest for me unless listening to it for free was an option. Now if it had a commentary track with Crawford High's snobbish top ten, Amazon would already have my money. Hell, I'd settle for a commentary track with Melissa Sue Anderson, Lisa Langlois and Lawrence Dane
