Great find. Didn't see that one! Is there a special kind of Google search you do to make sure you pick up everything?

At AVForums, there's talk of syndicated episodes: https://www.avforums.com/threads/inc...luray.2060149/

Can anybory corroborate that? I'm about to buy this...

Think its just The A-Team that has syndicated eps, Hulk is uncut. Just finished Season One, all episodes have the pre-credit sequences too.

Does anyone know if the pre-credit teasers are also present on the Magnum PI set?

Still waiting for a fuller review of that one.

... and speaking of Magnum, I'd really like to know which version of Ki'i's Don't Lie is included - the one that leads into the Simon & Simon crossover or the standalone one. Oh, and I wonder if Man from Marseilles, L.A. and Resolutions suffer from the same cuts as the DVD sets.

It was confirmed in the Magnum thread it's the standalone version as the S&S cross over episode is missing.

Someone just asked this question, and got a response, like 5 posts up from yours.

Not 5 pages, but 5 posts, lol.

Before everyone complained to Fabulous Films the Hulk was only going to have the feature length Married (season 2 opener) as the syndicated cut but this was changed and all are the full length episodes.

Out of curiosity & not to totally sidetrack, but - which player did you get and hows it working out for you?

I plan on getting one mainly because of this hulk release and was looking for recommendations....

I just got the set yesterday, a week later than it was supposed to arrive.

I've got good news and bad news.

Bad news is that the entire set has an improperly set "levels" flag in the stream which forces the blu-ray player to send the video out at PC Levels (full range) instead of TV Levels (limited range), resulting in crushed blacks that destroy detail. I confirmed that this was the problem by comparing the bluray to the Netflix HD stream.

I'm able to workaround this problem by setting the HDMI Black Level setting to High on my LG OLED TV. The black level is usually set to low because setting it to high often results in washed out blacks on properly mastered blurays. Setting the black level to high in this case results in no washed out black bars on the sides and a better detailed picture. This is similar to the problem with the X-Files Season 8 discs that had to be replaced by Fox.

If your TV can change the HDMI Black Level like mine can, you should be okay. If not, you'll be watching crushed detail that looks worse than the Netflix stream.

The good news is that once the black level is set to high and I can watch the show with the levels properly displayed, the show looks pretty good. The first two films look excellent with no DNR. The first episode after the two movies about a boxer named "Rocky" did have some DNR on it, but nothing too objectionable.

Update

Here are some caps to show the differences
