Thumbs up Definitive Technology's launches the new Demand Series of High Performance Bookshelf

I thoroughly enjoyed Def Tech's CEDIA demo of the new Demand Bookshelf speaker series.

The Demand series comes in three levels, the flagship D11 for $999/pr, D9 at $799/pr and the entry level D7 for $499/pr. The build quality and audio performance is excellent. If you closed your eyes and were told these were double the price you would want to buy them immediately.

I purchased all three series for our a/v showroom.

Here's Def Tech's link to the new Demand series.

They look nice, but I chose this reveal as a chance to grab the SM65s for $240 a piece. Got three for them for my front sound stage. Pretty excited on the deal!

Thanks Robert for the info, as this is the first I heard of the new bookshelves by Deftech. Wish I lived closer to your store...So.Cal is far away....would like to listen to them. I have several sets of the "old" SM450s, and it would be interesting to see how much of a difference there is with the upcoming D11 series, as they are almost identical in size to the SM450s.
