Default kid on the block-signature SUB

Hi,I just join this forum. I am using Paradigm Signature SUB1, with 3 other subs, namely SVS PB12 2/plus 2, sunfire true sub signature n true sub mk 2. My speakers are apogee duetta signature front, martin logan stage center, radia 72 inches front high, radia 52 inches side rear and apogee stage rear. Using an Onkyo pre processor, 2 sunfire 5x400watts power amps n a digital 400 watts stereo power amp to power the speakers. All cables nordost. Sony, Pioneer, Samsung n Panasonic BluRay players are my sources. Tks.

Had my Servo 15v2 since Dec. 2006, just added a used Servo 15a today. Can't wait to get home and start playing around with placement, hoping integration is easy and painless.

Dual sub club, finally! \m/ \m/

I have three Servo 15a's all in prestine condition, I have a Sub 2 and 2000 SW Prestige - I can tell you the new 2000SW has some serious servo brakes - sound is definitely different between all three models but they all play well together, i am using one sub 2, one SW2000 and one Servo 15a right now, so i have two extra 15a's, have to get some XLR splitters to attempt the extra Servo 15a connection - since the Servo 15a's are only RCA compliant using the X-30 crossover.

Hi guys, I was wondering if anybody with a Reference Sub 12 has any problem with them overheating and shutting off for a moment and coming back on. The sub is calibrated with PBK and ARC playing at half volume. I have also noticed a popping sound as well .
Cheers

Sounds like you need a new amp.

I hope not, ive been researching it and I was told I might have to turn up the sub volume in my pre/pro or take it off the auto on function.

Quick question.......re: RCA Splitter

I'm thinking on bringing out of retirement an old 12 inch Denon sub and intergrating it alongside my Paradigm 15 inch servo sub. I would plug my splitter into the receiver sub out jack and from there an RCA cable to each sub.

So, will the splitter diminish in any way the signal going to my subs?

I see on their site that Paradigm has new line of subwoofers.

https://www.paradigm.com/defiance-subwoofers/index.php

The Defiance X 12 looks intriguing for me.

Lucky I want a Sub 2 or the JL Gotham. Don't have the green though.

If you get a good splitter I don't think it would diminish the sound quality at all.

Nice that they seem to have remembered what got them their reputation - ability to provide great sounding equipment without bursting the bank. Some of the subs seem to have gotten ridiculous, like the $5000 Prestige in light of what you got with the Servo 15v2 for $2000, but the Defiance seem to have them coming back to Earth.

Bravo Paradigm.

Well said!
I love the Paradigm speakers that I have, along with the two subs.
The Monitor 10 and 12 have been ample, but that X12 would be a very nice replacement for the 10. Then I could move the Monitor 10 to the bedroom.
I’ll look more seriously at that after Christmas I think.
