Speaking of Aussie cinema, while not an Aussie exploitation flick, I would love to see someone do a 4K transfer (1080pBD) of The Year of Living Dangerously. (Well, at least a proper transfer, not like the Spanish BD-R with DVD quality PQ).

A classic Peter Weir film that really showcased how good we can make films in this country. Won Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars (Linda Hunt), Nominated for the Palme d’Or at Cannes and Winner of Best Foreign Film at the Spanish “Oscars” (explains the BD-R and Spanish release).

Since reading the review, will probably pick up Attack Force Z at JB this weekend... Great to see older Aussie films on BD.

Umbrella/Shock/Via Vision - The Year of Living Dangerously soon, please.
