Well, words "Limited Edition" are always extremely bad. Can`t risk on important titles mediabook goes OOP and regular release does not see light of day.

Be without movie or pay more on ebay later are both greater evils than purchase it on 1st place.

As a German I only have to pay 5 euros for shipping but 70 dollars for the blu-ray + shipping makes me speechless.

Realy exited for this one. My def favoritt Bronson flick. There is something Peckingpah“sk about it. Mexico setting like Alfredo Garcia (shot in Mexico but supposed to be Guetamala). It“s mean macho no BS Bronson at his best (62 years old !) To finaly see this uncut is worth the hefty price (45 euro for me). Opted for cover A (Auge) as this is the original US 1 sheet poster (whitch i own). To bad it“s with the German title. I own the uk ITC vhs and the us Tri Star dvd.

The $70 includes shipping - literally half the total cost is the shipping!

Flame me if you want, but morally speaking, it would be bother me less to *download the film, and miss out on the extras, art/packaging, etc., than to overpay on a title because the distributor thinks it can squeeze extra bucks out of an audience held to ransom (so to speak).

*Not saying I'll be doing this, mind.

Not flame, I used to d/l in distant past some rarer titles but eventually got them as physical as file or dvd-r are worthless from collectors view.

Never watch extras unless there are alternative endings or deleted scenes and would rather take barebones release with regular case than mediabook>higher price.

Not buying every MB tho even if movie interests and never seen before, ignored some german releases of italian cinema...

But Evil IS worth the price, that is of course subjective matter..

These are my screencaps posted in a German forum.

The film has the usual Nameless treatment like they do with most of their releases. Sharpening + DNR, then some mild regrain. Problem with regrain is: In fast scenes, the regrainining is not working. That's why I posted the image with Bronson in the car.

The master is clearly dated. Lots of dirt and shaky image.

An obvious improvement over the DVD, but there's still some weird shit going on.

As I've said before, these are $10 discs in a $30 package.

If it`s unrated version that is worth more than 10 bucks....you look too much down of movie.

While those few extra seconds may not sound big deal to you, this is among Broncos best flicks and seeing in as uncut in better version that some fanedits is a treat...

Honestly we are talking some retro stuff here I do not expect 101% hi def transfers...(although would accept that fo shoo)

If I even get disc, d&t has not charged account yet!
