Yeah, I'd be willing to bet they'll have something at ComicCon. Maybe even an actual episode to show off the remastering.

Anyone think this will include digital codes for each season or the full series, and if Vudu/WB would add HDX to Vudu, any word on those?

There has been no further news on this set. They are still probably in the restoration phase of the project, once that's done they will probably have a tease or something in time for the next big Comic Con.

Yeah, talking about Vudu/digital codes right now is kinda putting the premature cart before the horse. We'll get there eventually.

Why is blu-ray.com saying this is coming out early 2018?

There's going to be a Mondo show for the series on March 9th. Some of the work for sale has been teased.

I mean, sure, if the scalpers travel to Austin, Texas and wait in line for hours. But most of the people dedicated to getting these prints won't have the mighty dollar in mind.

Mondo always puts them up for sale after these shows. And I guarantee there are scalpers in Austin who do go and wait in line. What's 3 hours of waiting to make an extra $500+. Don't get me wrong, I love this stuff but the poster market around Mondo releases bugs me to no end. I'm always excited when I see artists work with other poster's and galleries like Nakatomi or Bottleneck.

The leftovers from this show will probably be the bottom of the barrel. I imagine this one will be more popular than the Universal Monsters one, where what was sold after that show was mostly the stuff that really wasn't at all impressive (the variant of The Invisible Man, for instance, sold out at the show) And it's rare that a Mondo print these days goes for that much. The shows they put on differ wildly from the prints that go online. Yes, there will be some flippers, but the people attending these things are mostly there for the work.

EDIT: On the other hand...

I am new to Mondo. Are these Mondo prints made by the same company that does the Mondo Steelbooks?

Warner Archive had an interesting tweet today, saying "The show was not made for Hi-Def broadcast, but was finished on film. Those film elements can be scanned and cleaned up for an HD presentation. Some shows, especially with heavy FX, were filmed but the SFX and editing were done in Standard Def with no HD element to go back to."
