![]() Some interesting details about Season 2. He says there's more 70's films this time around and there'll be two world premieres. Let the speculation begin about what those could be. I have no idea. |

Drive-In Theater was a huge inspiration for me as a little kid. Both it and USA's 'Up All Night' aired a whole lot of quirky movies that you typically wouldn't see on tv elsewhere. The interactive host segments added another layer to the experience. Always loved hearing the Joe Bob reviews and rants and similarly the silly segments from Up All Night were fun as well. Nearly all of these movies have blus or dvds by now and so I don't really want to watch them on tv, but I certainly appreciate that a show like this is around. The internet and the death of the video store kind of changed the experience over the years, but I really loved discovering these kinds of movies back then during simpler times.

Joe Bob's newsletter revealed that movie #2 of this Friday's season premiere will be Bloodsucking Freaks co-hosted by wrestler (and BF fan) Chris Jericho. Movie #1 features a beloved '80s actress who will be interviewed during the film. I think I actually heard Joe Bob mention on a podcast or somewhere that every episode this season will have a guest of some sort.

[Show spoiler] ![]() I'm so excited for Friday. It seems like no matter how old I get, and no matter how many times I'm reminded of it in life's diminishing returns, movie night with Joe Bob never fails to bring a smile to my face. ![]() Last edited by BeastCreatureTrapper; 04-23-2020 at 05:05 AM. |

![]() ![]() I wonder who the beloved '80s actress could be. Linnea Quigley? Brinke Stevens? |

I'm not sure how Shudder works when people get it through other places like Amazon. But I have the Shudder app on my Apple TV and it has three separate live feed channels. This show airs on the one called It Came From Shudder. The episodes are typically available the next day to watch on demand, too.

I could probably download the app directly through the Samsung store to keep it separate, but it's convenient having several different services all accessible in the same place. |

This is officially the first time watching it live. Before it was always OnDemand, but this time I decided to subscribe directly off the website using the SHUTIN promo code for a free 30 days. I’m excited to be watching it immediately.
Also watched all the Cursed Films episodes on Shutter this week. That Twilight Zone: The Movie episode was a doozy with actual footage of Vic Morrow and the kids being killed. Wonder what the second film will be. :-D |

This was my second or third time seeing Chopping Mall. Fun movie and Kelli Maroney was a great guest.
Bloodsucking Freaks was absolutely dreadful. One of the worst, most tedious things I've ever sat through, which I only did so that I could enjoy the Joe Bob segments. If I'd rented or been streaming this on its own, I never would have finished it. |

Yeah, my wife didn’t particularly enjoy the second film, of the parts she saw. lol
I would jokingly make up trivia about it, like it was the main influence for Saw, and things like that. The little person henchman and a few others were pretty terrible actors IMO, even though Chris Jericho was saying it had surprisingly good acting in it. A few of the actors were okay, though. Just a series of torture scenes for the most part. It was strange when there were actual scenes with genuine dialogue. Those moments threw me off. lol |

Yeah, I wonder if it's been considered the first torture porn movie in retrospect. I thought the lead actor playing Sardu was actually pretty good. The content itself didn't bother me, it was just that the film had barely any plot and was so boring. It had the pace of a snail.

Well, I thought there was a slight chance that one of the films for this season would be Friday the 13th, which Joe Bob could do for it's 40th anniversary, coming up on the 9th of May. Granted, Joe Bob has covered the series before, but a more in-depth (and unedited) take would be nice.
Unfortunately, it appears that the F13th films are leaving Shudder just as soon as they came, so scratch that hope altogether. |
